To Add an Asset (Vehicle or Stationary Asset)
Step 1: Navigate to the Assets Page
Begin by going to the Assets page on your system.
Step 2: Add a New Asset
Once on the Assets page, look at the top right corner of the screen.
You will see a button labeled "Add Asset." Click on this button.
Step 3: Choose the Method of Adding an Asset
After clicking "Add Asset," a dropdown menu will appear.
Select "Single Asset" from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Fill Out the Asset Information
A sidebar will open, displaying a form that needs to be filled out to add the asset.
Fill in the Mandatory Fields:
- Asset Type: Select the type of asset you are adding, such as "Vehicle" or "Stationary Asset."
- License Type: Choose whether the asset is "Registered" or "Unregistered."
- Registered City: If the asset is registered, select the city where it is registered.
- Vehicle Type: If applicable, select the type of vehicle, such as "Car," "Bike," "Bus," etc.
- Fuel Type: Select the fuel type the vehicle uses, such as "Special 95," "Super 98," or "Diesel."
Optional Fields:
You may also fill out additional, non-mandatory information, including:
- Plate Number
- Name
- VIN/HIN
- Department
Step 5: Save the Asset
Once all the necessary information has been entered, review the details.
Click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the sidebar to add the asset to the system.
Result
The asset will now be added to the system, and you should see it listed on the Assets page.
